As we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ this Easter, we extended the gift of good tidings to the beautiful kids at Heritage Homes Orphanage at Anthony Village, Lagos, Nigeria on Saturday April 16th, 2022.
Our team and volunteers arrived at the Home with frozen food items, raw foods, noodles, water, provisions, toiletries, standing fans, medications, body care product and so on. The team was well received and welcomed by the Orphanage Home’s staff and kids. We were not allowed to take pictures or videos of the kids for future adoption privacy reasons. The head of staff and social work at the Home explained that the kids attend regular schools and taking their picture or videos might subject them to being profiled by their peers at school.
We appreciated and respected the privacy of the kids who prayed for the founder that sent all the items mentioned above to them. The kids prayed for the founder and the prayer was recorded and sent to the founder who could not suppress her joy as she cried while saying amen to the prayers by the angels via Whatsapp Voicenote.
